Alive: For Wade, San Juan Islands

San Juan Island:
This is the main island as it is the biggest.

This is Popeye the famous seal of Friday Harbor

Roche Harbor has one of the best color cerimonies I have ever seen. They do it every night.

Lime Kiln State park is everyones favorite place to whale watch.

Sucia Island:
Sucia island can only be reached by a private boat. It is the northernmost public island as well. All of it's beaches are different. One with sand, one with pebbles, one with rocks.

These are the main docks

Shallow bay

Some of the best sunsets can be found on Sucia Island

Jones Island:
Jones Island is inhabited with deers. There is a small dock, so most big boats have to anchor out.

James Island:
James Island is a very small island with a very small dock. From far away it looks like a bush, but really it's a bunch of trees. Perfect for raccoons.

Stuart Island:
One of the better islands for hiking

This is a view from Steward Island. There are two docks that meet at a center point in the middle of the island.

Stuart Island has a school house. You must hike quite a ways to get to it.

Lopez Island:
Lopez is one of the 3 islands you can get to by ferry. For big boats to get in they have to wait for the tide to come up. The channel is very shallow when the tide is down.

It is also known as the "hippie" island because everyone is so friendly there.

Orcas Island:
Orcas Island is just as popular, if not more, than San Juan Island.

Rosario resort was built by a ship builded by the name of Moran. There is a state park named after him as well.

Mount Constitution is the highest point in the San Juans, 2,409 ft Summit.

Moran State Park has it all, lake, waterfalls, camping and hiking

Sealife:
You will see vast amounts of sea life ranging from perch, shrimp, crabs, seals, otters, porpoises, and of course whales

There are of course many more islands, but these are my favorite and the ones I have been to the most.
